Where are the Tomorrow Rooms?
The library will live online, allowing anyone to join and use it anywhere at any time.
To create stories of the future and action plans we come to you! Any meeting room, conference room or exhibition space can become a ‘tomorrow room’ where you can create stories of the future, with our tools and expert assistance. We can also work with you to use tools online - or a hybrid of digital/in-person.
We also want to have physical hubs for The Tomorrow Rooms - places people can have time and a place to recharge, use our library in person to learn more about future trends and see what others are doing, and host workshops for teams and groups to get away and create future stories together. Could you provide a space? We would love to hear from you.
Who are we?
Matt Jackson
Matt Jackson is an experienced consultant, facilitator and strategist. He has held senior roles in programmes, partnerships, grant-making and advocacy at Comic Relief, Scope, Oxfam and the YMCA, and has been developing strategies creatively with many of the top charities in the UK as a consultant. He lives in France and works throughout Europe.
He is passionate about how futures work can help people to think in new and refreshing ways and has seen it in action in countless consultancy projects where he has used this methodology. He believes in the power of stories to change the world and motivate people to build more just and equal communities and worlds.

Joe Derry Hall
Joe Derry Hall works in creative communications and technology, and is the joint winner of a BAFTA for interactive entertainment. Based in Edinburgh, he has over 20 years experience in the third sector as well as arts organisations and purpose-led businesses.
Joe has been working on stories imagining better futures since coordinating global communications on Save the Children's Rewrite the Future campaign in the 2000s. More recent projects include experiential online game A Week With Wanda, which won a Mozilla Creative Media Award for exploring the dark side of the future of AI, and leading communications for the Civil Society Futures public inquiry.
